Expanding the diversity of regulated yoga teacher training qualifications
The main tutors at Mindbody Wellness have been delivering training for the British Wheel of Yoga Qualifications Ofqual’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at Level 4, representing the highest teaching yoga qualifcations available in the UK. We are pleased to announce that Mindbody Wellness will be the first training centre to launch the new Level 3 qualifcations on the RQF.
What’s the difference between Level 4 and Level 3?
Level 3 is equivalent to the attainment level required in studying for an A-Level and the technical specialist qualifications below have been approved against occupational standards by IfATE. The DfE has approved these for publicly-funded places through the ESFA or your mayoral combined authority.
Level 3 Technical Specialist in Teaching Yoga (Certificate)
Total Credits: 32 Guided Learning Hours: 175 Total Qualification Time: 320
Level 3 Technical Specialist in Teaching Antenatal Yoga (Award)
Total Credits: 6 Guided Learning Hours: 36 Total Qualification Time: 64
Level 3 Technical Specialist in Teaching Postnatal Yoga for Mums & Babies (Award)
Total Credits: 6 Guided Learning Hours: 36 Total Qualification Time: 64
Level 3 Technical Specialist in Teaching Mindbody Exercises to Older Adults (Award)
Total Credits: 7 Guided Learning Hours: 38 Total Qualification Time: 66
Level 4 Qualifications – the highest teaching yoga qualifications available
Level 4 is equivalent to the attainment level required in studying for a foundation degree at university.
