This course is about Teaching Yoga (TY).

Unit 1 is about Your Responsibilities as a Yoga Teacher.   Along with work in other units, you will be studying the required topics in Unit 1 to gain the knowledge needed to meet the occupational standards and you will learn how to apply this knowledge when instructing yoga students.  By the end of this unit, you will be able to identify the ethical and legal requirements relevant for teaching yoga, assess and manage risks for the students in the teaching environment and act professionally as a yoga teacher.
